Le Rive Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie 2020 offers a crisp and aromatic white wine.

Slocum & Sons added a new Italian import from the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region, nestled between Trieste and the Dolomitic Alps: Le Rive Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie 2020. Available in 750 ml and 1.75 l, the white wine comes from a small cooperative winery, Cantina di Bartiolo, founded in 1960 in the village of Bertioloand composed of some of the oldest families in Grave. Le Rive’s fanciful “fish-ful label” is a reference to the terroir, in Friuli and the surrounding Delle Venezie DOC, an ancient pre-historic seabed, studded with seashell fossils. The region’s warm Adriatic days, combined with cool evening air flowing down from the Dolomites, make the area a perfect territory for crisp, aromatic wines, with Pinot Grigio the most important grape of the region.
