Sons of Liberty Beer & Spirits Co. of South Kingston hosted its fourth annual Liberty & Libations food drive and fundraising event to benefit Operation Stand Down RI on November 8, 2019. In exchange for food donations to Operation Stand Down RI, a nonprofit organization that provides aid to local veterans, guests were treated to one free beer or cocktail from Sons of Liberty. Guests with military IDs received a free Sons of Liberty beer or cocktail along with drink specials throughout the night. Guests enjoyed food from the veteran-owned The Burgundian: Coffee and Waffles food truck while local musician Mance performed. A portion of the night’s proceeds benefited Operation Stand Down RI.
