Summer Wine Event Highlights California Vineyards

Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island showcased the wines of Napa Valley’s Orin Swift Cellars and Sonoma’s J Vineyards & Winery at The Capital Grille in Providence on June 29 as part of The Generous Pour Summer Wine Event. Sean P. McNamara, Area Manager Customer Development, E. & J. Gallo Winery, and Jill Hamilton, Sales Consultant, Johnson Brothers, celebrated the launch of the venue’s The Generous Pour event, which gives guests pours of seven wines and a dinner pairing from The Capital Grille. Featured wines included Orin Swift Cellars Palermo, Abstract, 8 Years in the Desert and Fragile Rosé and J Vineyards & Winery Pinot Gris. Founded by California winemaker David Phinney in 1998, Orin Swift Cellars is now owned by E. & J. Gallo Winery, with Phinney crafting the iconic California wines. For more than 30 years, J Vineyards & Winery has been producing award-winning California sparkling and varietal wines in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County.
