Hartford, CT
Nestled in the heart of downtown Hartford for more than 11 years, Sunberry Restaurant & Bar stands as a cherished family-owned gem, proudly showcasing an exquisite fusion of Korean home-cooked culinary expertise and inventive mixology. Owned and operated by the Yon family, the restaurant offers a variety of Korean stir-fry, Japanese shabu-shabu (hot pot), ramen, sandwiches, burgers and vegan dishes. The interior is cozy and inviting featuring tables and chairs handmade by Owner and Chef John Yon. For warmer days, the venue has outdoor seating too. Live entertainment every day of the week is enjoyed with its array of sakes, Japanese whiskies, Asian gins, beer and wine, as well as creative craft cocktails, all under the eye of Bar Manager Moriah Aronson. Seasonal menus and signature cocktails highlight the uses of sakes, sojus and other Asian-inspired flavors while still supporting local beverage brands and ingredients. One of the venue’s most popular offerings, the gin-based Dragon’s Egg, features a plastic collectible dragon figurine as a garnish, topped with a citrus smoke bubble to kick off a sipping experience.
