Local mental health responders, Newport RI Fire Department, Newport Firefighters IAFF Local 1080 and the Silent Warrior Foundation nonprofits each benefited from a Wheely Good fundraiser organized by Tavern on Broadway in Newport on June 22. Guests enjoyed pedal-powered frozen margaritas showcasing Don Julio Tequila Blanco, raffle prizes, food specials on oysters and littlenecks, and additional cocktail selections from the venue’s bar team. Two Don Julio-branded blender bikes on the patio allowed guests to burn some calories and then cool off with a flavored margarita treat.
