Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey, distributed in the state by Brescome Barton, sponsored the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) first Hartford chapter meeting of the new year. Hosted at Hartford’s Little River Restoratives on January 27, USBG members and bar professionals began the event with a membership drive and meeting before moving onto the competition. Local bartenders created their best cocktails using Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey as the base spirit. Three winners emerged: Andrew Martins of Treva, who received third place with his cocktail, Cuppa Tee; Suzie Johnson of Conspiracy, who won second place with her cocktail, Golden Triangle; and Jennifer Ruzbasan of Farmington Gardens, who won first place with her cocktail, The Dark Side.
