The Cocktail Chemist ready-to-drink canned cocktail line released its latest flavor, Espresso Martini, in March with an official launch at Parkville Market in Hartford on March 25. Creator Dimitrios Zahariadis, who works as both the “The Cocktail Chemist” and Beverage Manager at Cheshire’s Viron Rondo Osteria, poured tastes with Jason Rustico, Sales Representative, Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI). Available in Connecticut via CDI, the canned cocktail line features premium spirits blended with fresh fruit juice, natural flavors and 100% cane sugar. Based on the classic cocktail that gained popularity in the 1980s, The Cocktail Chemist Espresso Martini is a blend of American corn vodka and cold brew espresso, infused with nitro and a hint of vanilla flavor. Best enjoyed in a classic martini glass, over ice or straight from the can, the Espresso Martini also pairs well with cream or cream liqueurs. Each 200-ml can is 10% ABV and all flavors are gluten- and preservative-free. Other flavors in The Cocktail Chemist canned cocktail line include the Vodka Soda cocktail, made with carbonated water and a splash of cranberry juice with a hint of lime flavor; the Mojito, a blend of Caribbean rum, blended with mint, freshly squeezed lime juice and cane sugar; and the Something Good, a blend of vodka, lemon juice and cane sugar with notes of elderflower and lavender.
