Members of The Cocktail Guru team recently hosted a charity pop-up bar event at Bar and Board Bistro on Thames Street in downtown Newport during the Newport Wine & Food Festival on September 21. Bartenders Jonathan Pogash, President/Owner, and Kirsten Amann, Marketing & Business Development Guru, created and served craft cocktails to guests featuring Maschio Prosecco, Sandeman Port, St. Elder, Fernet-Branca and Malfy Gin. A portion of the proceeds from the pop-up event benefited the Women’s Resource Center of Newport County, a charitable organization dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence.
