The award-winning team from Ocean House offered summer experiences for guests at the Watch Hill beachfront resort, each a beverage brand showcase. Bloom, the Sipping Terrace at Ocean House showcased Sipsmith, an imported English gin and a seasonal cocktail menu set against a lush backdrop of an English garden theme. Sipsmith is a traditional London Dry Gin distilled from the finest English barley with 10 carefully selected botanicals with a wonderful burst of juniper and a zesty, citrus freshness. It’s bold, complex and aromatic. The London-based distillery offers additional expressions: Lemon Drizzle Gin, Sloe Gin and V.J.O.P Navy Strength Gin (Very Junipery Over Proof Gin), each showcased in a summer cocktail menu and in gin and tonics. Whispering Angel Wickets & Wines offered a rosé wine showcase in weekly evenings of croquet at Ocean House. Sponsored by Château d’Esclans, the acclaimed rosé producer from Provence, France, its newest rosé is The Beach by Whispering Angel, accompanied hors d’oeuvres and croquet instruction from the resort’s world-ranking croquet professional to sip, swing and socialize on the lawn.
