
Tri-Vin Imports, Inc., rolled out new Italian imports in Connecticut in time for Valentine’s Day sales and marketing. Bright pink and bubbly, three new rosé Prosecco DOC offerings include Tutela Prosecco Rosé, Masottina Prosecco Rosé Brut and Covalli Prosecco Rosé. Also, in keeping with the month’s theme, the Amore organic wine line from Antiche Terre Venete includes Amore Assoluto Red Blend, 13.5% ABV; Amore Rosé Blend, 13% ABV; and Amore Oro White Blend, 13% ABV. Each offers a blending of indigenous Italian grapes.
- A blend of 90% Glera and 10% Pinot Nero grapes, Covalli Prosecco Rosé is a harmonious offering, light coral in color with aromas of white peach, strawberry and white flowers.
- Masottina Prosecco Rosé Brut is a fresh and fragrant wine that is both elegant, delicate and vivacious.
- Bright pink in color, with lively and persistent perlage, Tutela Prosecco Rosé offers intense aromas of both white and red flowers and fruits.
- Amore Assoluto Red Blend is a James Suckling 92-point rated wine and the 13.5% ABV red blend presents spice, dark fruit and “juicy tannins.”
- In a pale raspberry color, Amore Rosé is a 13% ABV blend with a 90-point Vinous rating, with red berry fruit and balance acidity.
- Amore Oro White Blend is a 13% ABV blend of Garganega, Chardonnay and Viognier grapes in a fresh and fragrant wine.
