Twin River Management Group (TRMG) announced that it has moved up the opening date of the Tiverton Casino Hotel to September 1, 2018, one month in advance of the target opening date of October 1. According to John E. Taylor, Jr., Chairman of TRMG, construction crews have made tremendous progress over the winter months, despite the weather, allowing the company to open earlier than anticipated. “We’re grateful that the construction team on the job [has] really dug in and allowed for this accelerated opening date,” said Taylor. Once complete, Tiverton Casino Hotel, a Twin River property, will feature 32 table games and up to 1,000 slots. The attached 84-room hotel will feature meeting spaces and a fitness center.
