Two Roads Brewing Raises Funds for Connecticut Aviation Charities

By February 28, 2019Connecticut, Top News

Ted Pert, Tasting Room Manager, Two Roads Brewing Company with Mark Corvino, The Connecticut Air & Space Center.

Two Roads Brewing Company raised $2,000 for The Connecticut Air & Space Center and The Igor I. Sikorsky Historical Archives during its annual Igor’s Dream bottle release on January 26. Each year the brewery honors Igor Sikorsky, who designed and piloted the world’s first helicopter in 1939, still located down the street from Two Roads today. The Connecticut Air & Space Center and The Igor I. Sikorsky Historical Archives are both based in Stratford, down the street from the brewery. For the past seven years, when Two Roads releases its Igor’s Dream, a Russian Imperial Stout aged in rye whiskey barrels, the brewery donates a portion of sales to the two aviation institutions. More than 1,500 people attended the event, as did two generations of the Sikorsky family.
