The United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) New Haven Chapter hosted a Barrell Bourbon tasting event and membership drive at Kawa Ni in Westport on February 19. USBG New Haven chapter leaders, members and potential members were present as Alexandra Farrington, Regional Brand Ambassador for Barrell Bourbon, led guests through a tasting of nine expressions of Barrell Bourbon. During the event, attendees selected USBG New Haven’s own barrel of Barrell Bourbon based on cumulative scoring. Once bottled and labeled, the bourbon is then available for purchase via Northeast Beverage.
