Then representatives from Charter Oak Insurance and Financial Services Co. presented tips for financial planning and buying insurance relevant for those in the hospitality industry. Roger Gross of Ordinary and Elm City Social presented Green Dot Bystander Sexual Harassment Intervention Training, which seeks to increase proactive preventative behavior by giving community members basic education, skill practice and reactive interventions to high-risk situations. The afternoon concluded with a tasting and talk on the newly available Bolivian spirit, Rujero Singani, presented by Craig Ventrice, USBG New Haven Chapter Treasurer and Spirits Portfolio Manager at Highland Imports and Tealye Long, Business Development Manager, Chufly Imports.
