Watson’s, a full-service catering and event-planning company, has served the Greenwich community for more than 25 years and won the distinction of Moffly Media’s “Best of Greenwich” caterer eight times since 2010. Along with upscale cuisine, guests can expect a full cocktail service with signature creations using premium spirits and fresh ingredients, such as The Watson’s, created for a recent event through a collaboration with pop-up cocktail bar Art of Pour. Watson’s uses its event-planning prowess to “partner with the best vendors,” bringing guests a fun and unique experience at each event. “Garnished with delicate flowers, this cocktail is perfect for the ‘garden party’ and a great example of the quality Watson’s expects from each and every vendor we hire, for every event we do,” said Owner Susan Scully.

Cocktail: The Watson’s

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Hendrick’s Gin or Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • ¾ oz. Lemon juice
  • ¼ oz. Simple syrup
  • Muddled cucumber, basil and ginger
  • 1 dash grapefruit bitters
  • Optional garnish: flower with clothespin

Method: Muddle the cucumber, basil and ginger in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients and ice and shake. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.

“The refreshing cucumber and basil flavors make The Watson’s a perfect summer cocktail,” said Owner Susan Scully. “I love the idea of a cocktail you can make with fresh ingredients from your own garden.
