Local bartenders, all women, faced off to fight breast cancer at a “Boo-zy Brunch Cocktail Competition” at Waypoint Spirits in Bloomfield on October 28. Contestants created Halloween-themed brunch cocktails for guests to taste and then vote on their favorites, with Corinne Ferrante of ON20 taking the win. Ticket sales benefited the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization addressing the fight against breast cancer through research, community health outreach and public policy initiatives. Guests enjoyed brunch food prepared by Chef Bryan Burke of Taprock Beer Bar & Refuge.
