The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), a professional level of knowledge in wine, has recorded that the number of individuals who sat for the WSET qualifications exam increased by 26-percent, or 6,779 people. The U.S. surpassed China in total enrollment in WSET programs and is second to United Kingdom in global importance. Global candidates sitting for the WSET exam, which is available in 66 countries, increased by nine-percent.
