Wine Wizards added new wines to its international portfolio, with selections from Slovenia and Italy. Adding to its “skin contact whites,” Kobal’s Bajta Belo is a blend of Pinot Grigio, Welschriesling, Chardonnay and Traminer from Slovenia’s Haloze Hills. The wine is first fermented separately and in used barriques on their lees for two years prior to blending. From Italy comes a Bindi Sergardi offering, with a 700-year-old history in winemaking that dates back to 1349. The Bindi Sergardi family holds deep ties to the culture and traditions of Siena. Its Achille Rosso Toscana and Chianti La Boncia arrive in time for cooler temperatures.
