DeSerio discussed the martini, spirits and associated history and evolution, while mixing up cocktails with Middleton and guests Chris Prosperi, owner and chef of Metro Bis Restaurant in Simsbury, and Alex Province, wine expert and frequent contributor to Middleton’s show. The show also highlighted the 5th Annual Faith Middleton Food Schmooze Martini Competition, a fundraiser for Connecticut Public Television and WPNR taking place on June 19, 2014.
