The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) has partnered with the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS), the U.S. spirits industry’s leading voice and advocate. In a reciprocal agreement, DISCUS becomes a WSET Silver Patron and WSET becomes a DISCUS Partner Member. WSET’s Corporate Patrons program provides funding to help the organization develop its courses and qualifications, as well as its online global campus and professional membership body for graduates. The program also helps organizations add value to their own business by maximizing the benefits of training and giving access to WSET’s global network of professionals and enthusiasts. DISCUS will run a WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits course for all DISCUS members prior to its inaugural conference that takes place February 17-20, 2020, in Louisville, Kentucky.
