The Rhode Island Brew Fest is a celebration of American craft beer, featuring the best brews RI and New England have to offer, hosted at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence in January for a celebration of American craft breweries. A showcase of 55+ breweries with more than 175 beers to sample from, the event will have two, three-hour sampling sessions from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m and 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Each session will feature live music, local vendors, and a food court.
The event is held at at WaterFire Providence, a champion of the independent Rhode Island arts scene since 1994. The festival supports attending brewers by purchasing all of their product at the festival. Unlike many beer festivals, there are no booth fees for brewers, we actually pay them to participate on top of donating a portion of every ticket sold to the Rhode Island Brewers Guild.
All attendees must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a qualifying negative COVID-19 test to gain entry to the 2022 festival. Individuals are considered “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19 at least 14 days after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series (e.g. Pfizer-BioNTech

The Rhode Island Brew Fest is a 21+ event. No one under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants, and babies. No pets allowed.
The tenth-annual Newport Beer Festival, sponsored by Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co. and Pour Judgement Bar & Grill, will return to offer beer lovers local and regional brew tastes on April 30. The Newport Craft Brew Race will celebrate its annual fun run on July 22 with a walk or run 5K followed by a craft beer festival with more than 30 participating local, regional and national breweries on the grounds of Fort Adams State Park. All 5k participants and festival-goers will receive a pint glass and entry to the festival with ticket purchase, including access to beer sampling, live music, vendors and food trucks. Produced by Gray Matter Marketing, a portion of the proceeds from the Craft Brew Race Newport benefit the Rhode Island Brewer’s Guild in support of the growth of craft beer and brewing in Rhode Island. Access to food vendors and much more; every attendee will receive a custom glass as they exit the festival. The Rhode Island Brew Fest provides unlimited sampling of all attending breweries and purchases all beer directly from the breweries in order to support the craft brew industry and a portion of every ticket sold is donated to the Rhode Island Brewers Guild. The Rhode Island Brew Fest is a private, ticketed, 21+ event. No one without a ticket or under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants and babies. The second Rhode Island Craft Beer Week will be hosted in restaurants and bars across the state March 1-10. Sponsored by the Rhode Island Brewers Guild, more than 35 breweries and a variety of bars and restaurants will participate in the festivities during the week, which will include beer launches, food pairings, competitions and more in celebration of the state’s craft brewing scene. The RI Home Show is back for its 74th year and in celebration the show is adding a new experience to the event, in partnership with the Rhode Island Brewers Guild: the House of Brews. Attendees of the RI Home Show, taking place at the Convention Center April 4th to the 7th, will get the chance to enjoy complimentary samples of local beers from breweries within the Guild. The Rhode Island Brewers Guild is the official brewery association in Rhode Island, existing to support and promote Rhode Island Craft Breweries. The Guild was established in 2013 with five founding breweries and brewpubs. As of today, it serves approximately 36 participating Rhode Island breweries.
The Newport Beer Festival will return to Fort Adams for its 12th year on April 20. The event will showcase beer from approximately 40 craft breweries with local, live music performed throughout the afternoon and food available for purchase. Event is 21+, rain or shine. Proceeds will benefit the Rhode Island Brewers Guild.
