
The United States Bartenders’ Guild Connecticut (USBG CT) chapter hosted a brand session featuring Emma Otero, U.S. Area Manager of Casalbor America, who provided an educational seminar on Wint & Lila and Indi & Co. products on May 22 at The Engine Room in Mystic. Wint & Lila London Dry Gin is produced in El Puerto de Santa Maria in Spain at a 200-year-old distillery. The name, Wint & Lila, refers to one of the leading historical companies engaged in the maritime trade in 1646, based out of Cadiz, Spain. Otero also highlighted Indi & Co. botanical mixers. The Engine Room provided light fare for the afternoon. Wint & Lila and Indi & Co. products are distributed via Highland Imports of Shelton.
- Wint & Lila Vodka is made with Spanish grain and pure water, five times distilled using reverse osmosis and filtered with pure Kieselguhr glass.
- Wint & Lila Vodka and Gin next to Indi & Co products. The gin is made with a five times distillation process and 10 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander, angelica, angelica root, cinnamon, orange peel, lemon and lime peels, spearmint and orange blossom.
- The Engine Room in downtown Mystic hosted USBG CT members for a trade education featuring Casalbor America products, which are available in state via Highland Imports.
