Simone Allario, Owner of Piazzo Winery, visited the office of Angelini Wine for a January wine tasting and sales meeting, as well as to showcase his wines at two on-premise events. Piazzo Winery, a historic winery located in the heart of Langhe, has been run by the same family for three generations and is known for its Piazzo Chardonnay Piemonte DOC, Piazzo Moscato d’Asti DOCG, Piazzo Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Piazzo Barbera d’Alba Piemonte DOC, Piazzo Dolcetto d’Alba DOC, Piazzo Barbaresco DOCG, Piazzo Barbaresco Riserva Nervo Vigna Giaia DOCG, Piazzo Barolo DOCG and Piazzo Barolo Riserva Sottocastello di Novello DOCG. As part of his Connecticut visit, Allario also presented his wines during two wine dinners: Strega in Branford and La Marea in Old Saybrook.
