Ace Distributing welcomed new Padre Azul Tequila, a 100% super-premium tequila made in Mexico, to its Connecticut portfolio. Available in Silver, Reposado and Añejo expressions of award-winning 100% blue agave premium tequila, founder HP Eder captures two important aspects of Mexican culture: tradition and the emphasis placed on ties with family and friends. Eder first came to Mexico as an Austrian student, met and married his Mexican-born partner, Adriana Alvarez de Eder, and together they launched the brand. Padre Azul Tequila Silver is velvety and intense on the palate, with cooked agave and notes of fruit; Reposado offers fruit compote, vanilla and cooked agave notes; and Añejo is a complex yet balanced spirit with flavors of vanilla, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon and dried fruits, with an “extremely” long, smooth finish. The brand also funds the Ramon Por Vida Foundation to support small aid projects in its community from a portion of the proceeds from each sold bottle for help that arrives directly, 1:1, where it is needed.
