La Marea Ristorante in Old Saybrook hosted a Tuscan wine dinner featuring Il Borro selections, distributed by Angelini Wine, Ltd. on February 5.  The special fundraising dinner and silent auction was organized to help defray medical and travel costs for the Bargnesi family and Lana Bargnesi, an area teen diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Featured guest Salvatore Ferragamo, Jr., Owner of Il Borro Wine Estate in Tuscany, showcased the Italian wines including 2016 Il Borro Lamelle Chardonnay, 2013 Polissena Sangiovese, 2013 Il Borro, Supertuscan, Il Borro Pian di Nova, Syrah/Sangiovese blend and Il Borro Allessandro, Supertuscan while guests enjoyed the special five-course pairing menu.
