Oak Haven Table and Bar in New Haven hosted two whiskey tasting events in January. The first was the 4th Annual Pappy Van Winkle Dinner on January 11 featuring whiskeys from Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, including Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year, Van Winkle Special Reserve, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 15 Year, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 20 Year, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Year and Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye. The second tasting took place on January 25 and highlighted the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection and Michter’s 25 Year. Guests tasted William Larue Welles, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac, Sazerac, George T. Stagg and Eagle Rare.
