Angelini Wine Debuts New Prosecco by Carpenè Malvolti

By November 28, 2017Connecticut, Top News

Angelini Wine added Puxinum Prosecco to its portfolio. Produced by Carpenè Malvolti, a pioneer in prosecco making, Puxinum is made from grapes grown in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG region in Italy. The sparkling wine is made with Glera grapes from vines that are 40 to 50 years old. Due to the “careful selection of the grapes and the meticulous attention to detail” during the wine’s production, only 5,000 bottles were produced. The name Puxinum is inspired by the ancient Roman wine “Vino Pùcinum.”
