Atlantic Beverage Distributors added new agave-based spirits to its portfolio. Onda Sparkling Tequila, a ready-to-drink tequila sparkling soda, is made with blanco tequila from an award-winning, woman-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Each canned offering is combined with real lime or grapefruit juice and has 100 calories, zero carbs, zero sugar, and is 5% ABV and naturally gluten-free. Two new mezcals were also added from Bosscal, makers of 100% organic, unaged mezcal, each created with traditional distillation in two expressions, Joven and Damiana. With a “mountain to market” philosophy guiding its production, the mezcal is hand-selected and created by the company’s fourth-generation mezcalero in collaboration with the entire Bosscal team, using premium durangensis agave. Each expression is bottled in a unique handblown glass bottle.
