By February 2, 2015Top News

NRA BAR show The National Restaurant Association (NRA) announced a new name for its show within a show, BAR (Beverage Alcohol for Restaurants) at NRA Show 2015, formerly known as the International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event. Dedicated to helping professionals develop a successful bar program in foodservice establishments, BAR at NRA Show 2015 will take place in the Lakeside Ballroom at Chicago’s McCormick Place on May 17-18. The “show within a show” will take place concurrently with the 2015 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, running from May 16-19. “We wanted our attendees to have a direct word association with BAR at NRA Show and its purpose, which is to connect beverage alcohol to restaurant menus and brands and vice versa,” says convention chair John Metz. “Now, not only the name, but also the location will showcase the importance of beverage alcohol and foodservice working hand-in-hand to contribute to an operation’s bottom line.”
