New Haven’s Elm City Social, in collaboration with Bar Convent Brooklyn, welcomed Paula November, Event Vice President, Reed Exhibitions, and Gregory Buda, Director of Education, Dead Rabbit NYC, for an industry education and networking event on January 13. An annual summer bar and beverage trade show, Bar Convent Brooklyn returns to the Brooklyn Convention Center in 2020 on June 9 and 10. Part of its promotional and industry-service outreach has been its bar education road show. As part of Bar Convent Brooklyn’s On the Road series, Buda gave a seminar on advanced bar techniques, with tips for bartenders on how to improve their quality, efficiency and consistency. Local industry guests enjoyed cocktails and small bites from Elm City Social during the event.
