Baró New World Cantina in Fairfield is celebrating its opening in support of local charity, Community Plates. “It’s a chance to celebrate not only our debut of the Latin American food and drinks we love, but also the community around us. We will have a silent auction featuring donations from our friends, vendors and neighboring businesses, all going to support Community Plates,” said Jason Snopkoski, Beverage Manager.  Community Plates is committed to ending American food insecurity by directly transferring fresh, usable food that would have otherwise been thrown away from restaurants, markets and other food industry sources to food-insecure families throughout the U.S. Tickets include admission, cocktail, tapas and more.
