Brescome Barton hosted a beer pairing dinner highlighting Boulevard Brewing Co. at Savoy Pizzeria in West Hartford on Jan. 26. Guests enjoyed a four-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Mike Orozco and his team paired with brews by Boulevard Brewing Co., including Boulevard Brewing Co. Smooth Fuzz, a peach sour ale; Tank 7, an American Saison ale; Space Camper Cosmic, an IPA; Boulevard Whiskey Barrel Stout; and Stuff of Legend, a barrel-aged stout. Alejandro Toro, Connecticut Market Manager, Duvel Moortgat, was in attendance to discuss the brand and its selections throughout the dinner. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Boulevard Brewing Co. is the largest specialty craft brewer in the Midwest. The brewery joined forces with Brewery Ommegang as part of the Duvel Moortgat family in 2013.
