Best Beverage Adds New French Wines

By October 1, 2020Rhode Island, Top News

Domaine Les Tuileries 2019 Chardonnay, 2019 Pinot Noir and 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon are new wines made by Domaine de Coursac.

Best Beverage welcomes wines from Domaine Les Tuileries from the IGP Cevennes region. The name comes from the specific tile work done on many of the houses in this region of Southern France, reflecting the roots of the French imports. An entry-level lineup made by Domaine de Coursac in Carnas, south of Cahors, the vineyards have been organically and biodynamically farmed since 2017 and offer single-varietal wines that are refreshing and easy-going while still complex. They are designed for what the French call the “Apero Hour,” typically shared with friends and family before a meal. Each of the wines is aged for five months in concrete egg-shaped tanks to allow for a better exchange between the must and grape skins during maceration, showcasing a mix of finesse and terroir personality in each bottle.
