The Rhode Island Hospitality Association’s (RIHA) Sarah Bratko was a featured speaker during an informational webinar on the issue of cocktails to-go, hosted by the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) on September 1. Led by Chris Swonger, President and CEO, DISCUS, the livestream panel discussion included experts from hospitality, regulatory and law-enforcement fields with the intention of educating industry stakeholders and consumers about the benefits of cocktails to-go and their role in providing much-needed revenue streams to restaurants and bars as COVID-19 restrictions continue. Bratko, Vice President of Advocacy and General Counsel, RIHA, served on the panel that also included Jonathan Adkins, Executive Director, Governors Highway Safety Association; Steven Casstevens, President, International Association of Chiefs of Police and Police Chief in Buffalo, NY; Suzanne Bohle, Executive Vice President, Council of State Restaurant Associations; and Adam Chafetz, President, Training for Intervention Procedures.
