Rhode Island’s Bootblack Brand’s Cranberry Jalapeño Lime Complex Cocktail & Soda Syrup was named by Yankee magazine as an honoree in its sixth annual Editors’ Choice Food Awards and featured in a multipage holiday food special layout in the magazine’s November/December issue. Created out of a “desire to highlight locally made food products and their makers,” the Yankee Editors’ Choice Food Awards celebrate both the quality and variety of offerings of the New England food scene. Ten honorees for 2018 were chosen by Yankee Senior Food Editor Amy Traverso and Contributing Editor Krissy O’Shea. “To be recognized outside of our home state proves we are more than a local business, [and] have an appeal on a national level,” said Paul Kubiski, Owner, Bootblack Brand.
