Mancini Beverage – Rhode Island Distributing division added Boston Harbor Distillery spirits to its portfolio beginning April 1. As part of the kickoff, the brand’s founder and longtime industry name Rhonda Kallman, who also co-founded Samuel Adams beer, led the sales and management teams on a tour of the facility in March, which sits overlooking Boston Harbor in a renovated mill building from the mid-1800s. Its products take inspiration from the regional history of the era. The Dorchester, Massachusetts-based distillery’s spirits lines include Putnam New England Whiskey and Rye Whiskey; Lawley’s New England Small Batch Rum; Spirit of Boston, each a unique expression distilled from Samuel Adams beers; and Boston Harbor Liqueurs. In 2015, Boston Harbor Distillery was founded by Rhonda Kallman after a 25-year career in the U.S. craft beer movement.
