Brescome Barton added a new expression from Buchanan’s Blended Scotch Whisky to Connecticut: Buchanan’s Pineapple Scotch Whisky. Building on more than 130 years of whisky-making experience to concoct its newest innovation, Buchanan’s Pineapple pairs the light caramel and vanilla notes from Scotch whisky from the House of Buchanan’s with the bright flavor and aroma of juicy pineapple. The 70-proof spirit, sold in 750-ml bottle size, offers a nose of vibrant pineapple and hints of zesty citrus, giving way to a lingering and bright tropical finish; best enjoyed in a piña colada, over ice or mixed with seltzer water and garnished with an orange slice.
