Broken Shed Vodka hosted the first round of its Vodkatails Mixologist competition series at Division West in West Hartford on November 5. Local bartenders were challenged to create a cocktail featuring New Zealand import Broken Shed Vodka. Becky Rogers of Rockledge Grille took first place with her winning cocktail Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica. Broken Shed Vodka will host two additional regional competitions, one in New Haven and one in Fairfield County, with winners from each to mix off in a final round in Southport in early 2019.
