Brescome Barton Hosts Bruxo Mezcal Cocktail Competition

Brescome Barton hosted a cocktail competition at Tisane in Hartford on December 9, 2019. Using Bruxo Mezcal Artesanal, area bartenders faced off to create cocktails with five ingredients in under five minutes. Competitors’ creations were scored on their use of the brand, creativity and taste by judges Chelsea Kramer, The Half Door; Harrison Love, Beam Suntory; and Erin Conway, Plan B. From a field of eight competitors, Nick D’Aiuto, Little River Restoratives, took third place; Jessica Torres, Republic at the Linden, came in second place; and Danielle Duncan, Tisane, took the top slot. Distilled from 100% espadin, Bruxo Mezcal Artesanal offers smokiness to frame and enhance its fruit and floral aromas.
