CDI Launches Local Distillery Lineup

By September 1, 2024Connecticut, Top News

Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), celebrated the launch of Connecticut Distilling spirits through The CoreBev Group with a meeting for its sales team at the new Connecticut Distilling facility in Waterbury on July 30. The CoreBev Group’s Stelios Stavrianos, Founder and CEO, and Dimitrios Zahariadis, Chief Operations Officer, led the CDI team through a brief overview of the company, formerly known as Continuum, while its Head Distiller Brandon Collins shared insights into the distillery’s innovative processes and commitment to sourcing local ingredients. The CDI team learned about the state-of-the-art methods used to create its unique spirits by reclaiming beer from brewery partners. This sustainable distilling process repurposes ingredients such as sugars, yeast and flavorful components from brewing materials. Connecticut Distilling’s offerings include Charred, made from malt-forward local craft beers; Drops, a spirit distilled from IPAs; Fort Hill Small Batch Bourbon with a unique aging process; Waterville Vodka; and Blueberry Rum. CDI launched the brands in early August as the exclusive distributor in the state. “We are incredibly excited to market these high-quality, locally crafted products,” said John Slocum, President, CDI. “Adding Connecticut Distilling’s unique spirits to our portfolio underscores our commitment to offering our customers the finest and most innovative products.”
