Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), enjoyed a virtual Copper Cane wine launch on September 3. Owned and operated by Joe Wagner in Napa Valley, the Copper Cane Wines & Provisions portfolio includes Elouan Pinot Noir from Oregon, Belle Glos Pinot Noirs from prime California coastal vineyards, Beran Zinfandels of California and Steorra, a Brut sparkling wine made of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown in Sonoma County’s prestigious Russian River Valley. CDI also added Quilt Wines, another Joe Wagner creation outside of the Copper Cane lines, which were also tasted during the virtual session hosted by John Lopez, Winemaker and Director of Winemaking, Copper Cane Wines & Provisions, and Joe Wagner, Owner. “Today was very special and marks yet another historic day in our company’s evolution, as we welcome Joe Wagner and Copper Cane Wines & Provisions into the CDI portfolio. I had the opportunity to meet with Joe at his office in Napa Valley in January, and we talked about his long-term vision for his company and these brands. It was apparent that the culture of Copper Cane is very much in sync with the culture of CDI. We are extremely excited to be able to represent such iconic, top-scoring wine brands,” said John Parke, President, CDI.
