Charter Oak Brewing Co. debuted seven new limited-release beers for the summer. Candles Out NEIPA, Easy Riding Kolsch, Lights Out Stout and Brown with Citra, along with Honey IPA, SMaSH IPA and Danbury Lager are available in 16-oz. 4-packs. Charter Oak’s newest core offering, Stubborn Yankee Lager with Citra hops, is now available in 12-oz. 6-packs. The brewery also has modified four of its current core styles for higher ABV and more robust flavor. Specializing in pale ales, India pale ales and brown ales along with seasonal offerings, Charter Oak Brewing creates its beers in small batches to guarantee freshness, according to Owner P. Scott Vallely. The brewery switched to exclusively canning its brands when it started brewing beer in its new facility in April of 2018, with distribution via Star Distributors, Inc.
