Links Drinks Transfusion, a 7% ABV ready-to-drink cocktail blend of vodka, ginger ale and grape juice, hit the market through Craft Beer Guild Distributing of Connecticut’s Blueprint Spirits. The Norwalk-based brand reflects Founder Fred Evanko’s lifelong love of golf; his grandfather was a PGA player. Inspired by a club cocktail called the Transfusion, Fred, along with wife, Denise, created a canned line in its tradition with its slogan Enjoy Life and a mission to help others. In 2013, the Evankos lost their daughter to pediatric cancer and a portion of sales benefits other families dealing with pediatric cancer. The RTD cocktail is sold in 12-ounce cans in four-packs.
