Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co. announced in June that is has acquired Radiant Pig Beer Company of New York City, increasing the company’s line of products to 26 craft beers and more than 10 craft spirits and cocktail labels. Rob Pihl, Owner of Radiant Pig, will join Newport Craft as Partner, Brewmaster and Brand Ambassador. New members were also added to the company’s sales force, with Jessica Woodcome set to lead the Radiant Pig Sales team for the Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island markets. Newport Craft’s new sales team will be led by David Hall, Northeast Sales Manager, and Tarcizio Dasilva, Tri-State Sales Manager. Newport Craft also announced its plans to expand its Newport-based facility beginning this summer, creating a new state-of-the-art space which will allow the company to double its production capacity, separate brewing and distilling operations, and serve as a venue for guests to taste its beer, spirits, and ready-to-drink cocktails. Newport Craft is the maker of Thomas Tew Rum and Thomas The Widows Walks Overproof Rum, Sea Fog American Whiskey, Newport Craft Gin, Newport Craft Vodka, and White Squall Coastal Moonshine in addition to its beers.
