New specialty spirits were added by Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), highlighting a range of flavors, both imported and domestic. Absolut Watermelon Flavored Vodka is the latest expression from Absolut vodka and brings watermelon sweetness with zero added sugar, at 91 calories per 1.5 fluid ounces. Hendrick’s Lunar Gin, a Scotland craft brand import, is a rounded and smooth combination of gentle spices and delicate citrus, available in a small batch, limited release. INDOGGO Gin comes from California, developed by the rapper, entrepreneur and king of “Gin & Juice” Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus, made with seven premium botanicals infused with all-natural strawberry flavor. Amaro Montenegro is a traditional amaro distilled in Bologna, Italy, made from a secret blend of 40 botanicals, including vanilla, orange peels and eucalyptus. The amaro was first produced by Stanislao Cobianchi in 1885. Finally, new addition Select Aperitivo is a Venetian aperitif, a bitter serving as the essential ingredient for making the Original Venetian Spritz, since 1920. The recipe is garnished with a large green olive to create the perfect blend of balance and flavor.
