Quiver Spiced Honey Spirit, a Connecticut-founded brand, launched Rhode Island statewide distribution with Horizon Beverage Co. – Origin Beverage division. Using a 100-year-old secret family recipe builds on the long tradition of producing Krupnikas, a honey spirit, in its contemporary form. Brothers Tomas and Ed Nenortas remain rooted in their Lithuanian-American family history and dedicated to “bringing intriguing spirits to a new generation of customers looking for something truly special.” Their Lithuanian-born grandparents shared homemade “Mad Lab” concoctions, which used only natural ingredients and a “mysterious array” of earthy spices. The 80-proof spirit offers a complex flavor and is smooth enough to sip on its own, offering sweet honey notes that build up to a “warm spiced quivering finish.” Quiver can also be showcased in a multitude of cocktails that highlight its unique ingredients. The brand was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and supports the Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund, in line with its use of regional honey in its recipe.
