Lawson’s Finest Liquids announced Adeline Druart would helm the 15-year-old Vermont craft brewery as its second CEO and first external CEO. Lawson’s founders Sean and Karen Lawson made the hire public on June 13.  The Lawsons will maintain executive leadership positions and remain stewards of the brand, but they plan to take a small step back from day-to-day operations at the family-owned business, which employs 85 people. Druart, who worked for artisanal cheesemaker Vermont Creamery in Websterville for 19 years and oversaw its acquisition by Land O’Lakes in 2017, also drove sales and brand awareness for Vermont Creamery as President while serving as VP and Corporate Officer of the farmer-owned cooperative in Land O’Lakes’ Dairy Foods Division until February 2023. Lawson’s Finest Liquids, whose brews include Sip of Sunshine, is in distribution in nine states across the Northeast.
