Constellation Brands presented The V Foundation for Cancer Research with a $1 million check, making it the largest single contribution Constellation Brands has donated to the organization. Many retail promotions, off-premise programming and direct contributions that were tied to the Corona Extra and Light brand sales, including “Your Corona Gets Us Closer to a Cure” campaign, bought Constellation closer to their record donation. Since 2010, Constellation Brands raised more than $3 million for cancer research and provided over $7 million to the fight against cancer. “At Constellation, we’re extremely proud of our relationship with The V Foundation and what we have accomplished with our distributor and retail partners in supporting cancer research,” Constellation Brands’ Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Jim Ryan said. “But we know there is more work to do. We’re committed to doing our part to help find a cure for cancer and ensure a better future for generations to come.”
