Beer Fest at Courtyard Marriott Hosted for Charitable Cause

Courtyard by Marriott Waterbury Downtown hosted its third annual Summer Beer Fest on July 23. The venue offered two ballrooms full of beer, seltzers, ciders and spirits, many from Connecticut craft breweries and distilleries. The event was sponsored by Post University; Diorio Restaurant & Bar; the Republican-American; Thomaston Savings Bank; Pepsi; Chewy.com; Benebone; iFetch; Cotter Construction and Landscape, LLC; Linda and Selim Noujaim; E-Z Roll Door Co. LLC; and Schmidt Electric LLC. Proceeds from the event benefited Looking Glass Animal Rescue, a charity dedicated to saving animals through adoption.
