Craft Beer Guild Distributing Visits Vale Fox Distillery

By October 2, 2020Connecticut, Top News

Craft Beer Guild Distributing of Connecticut launched Vale Fox spirits with a visit to the Lagrange, New York, distillery. Situated on a sustainable, 120-acre estate in New York’s Hudson Valley region, the Vale Fox Distillery produces small-batch spirits on custom Forsyth stills including their debut release, the award-winning Tod & Vixen’s Dry Gin 1651, with forthcoming releases including a line of limited-edition, barrel-aged gins and a single-malt whiskey. Tod & Vixen’s Dry Gin 1651, a 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition Double Gold Winner, was created in collaboration with three renowned bartenders: Leo Robitschek, Jeffrey Morgenthaler and the late Gaz Regan, who crafted it specifically for optimal use in classic cocktails. Master Distiller Eric Bachli and Assistant Distiller Andrea Rosas create the gin, a 100% wheat-neutral spirit, which is macerated with botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica root, red rooibos tea and fresh orange peel. It is then non-chill filtered, resulting in a robust and flavorful gin with a 48% ABV, ideal for mixing in classic and modern cocktails alike. The distillery was founded by brothers Eral and Arman Gokgol-Kline.
